Graphic Designer/Videographer




Performs a variety of functions relating to Chamber publications, brand design and development, and video production of the Chamber television show and multimedia projects as part of the Marketing team. Responsible for initial creative/graphic direction of Chamber projects including, but not limited to, print, digital and video collateral, direction and execution of managing of multimedia projects, and prepares final art for production in a variety of media.


  • Assists Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy and members of the executive team in creative brand collateral in several multimedia formats
  • Designer and manager of and executes multimedia projects for the organization, including, but not limited to, magazine, website, social media graphics and posts, video projects, ads, print projects, branding and membership materials and campaigns, testimonials, government affairs publications, and other visual projects as dictated by demand unless otherwise reassigned to another marketing team member
  • Responsible for layout and design of The Business Voice, the Chamber’s monthly magazine including execution and editing of Chamber publications
  • Manager and gatekeeper of brand strategy in creative design and related elements
  • Position brand in the market and measure targeted consumers insights
  • Photojournalist and producer for monthly Chamber television platform and related media including shooting and editing
  • Photographer for Chamber events as assigned
  • Responsible for managing graphic design, page layout and typesetting on Macintosh Platform using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Word
  • Manages design, layout and output to make all jobs ready for print
  • Updates, manages and executes requests within the project management system
  • Downloads and updates information from Chamber database as needed
  • Checks incoming and outgoing artwork for accuracy and file samples
  • Maintains department files and archive of all artwork, photos and projects
  • Tracks project costs and manages the job quotes and RFQ process
  • Actively supports and participates in Chamber events and functions
  • Other duties as assigned


Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in graphic design or related field; or at least two years’ related experience and/or training ; and advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of graphic design, videography, photography and print production
  • Two-plus years’ experience in the Marketing industry
  • Strong publication design skills including but not limited to magazine production, marketing and sales collateral, small publications design
  • Highly creative with ability to communicate and manage brand identity with both internal and external customers
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadline
  • Skilled in the operation of photographic and video equipment
  • Ability to lead projects and teams
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain hard copy and computer files and records
  • Advanced knowledge of computer fundamentals and professional software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of methods of Portable Document Format (PDF), pre-press and post production
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Proofreading experience or skills
  • Working knowledge of web design and Internet related software applications
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license required with clean DMV record
